Emme Studio Barcelona was born from a deep love for aesthetics and celebration. My journey into the world of weddings started in unexpected places—from event production and floral design to curating spaces with furniture rentals and orchestrating large-scale bridal fairs. Every experience sharpened my eye for detail, refined my approach, and solidified my belief that a wedding should feel like an immersive masterpiece.

As your wedding planner, I take on the role of designer, curator, and problem-solver. My approach is effortless yet intentional, blending refined aesthetics with a stress-free planning experience. I want you to dream limitlessly, knowing that every element—from the color palette to the guest experience—will be thoughtfully crafted and flawlessly executed.

Based in Barcelona and working with couples from all over the world, I specialize in destination weddings that embrace elegance, creativity, and a sense of place. I studied to be an elementary school teacher, but aesthetics pulled me in. Now, I craft visual experiences instead of lesson plans.

I spent some time in New York and its style and culture inspire me daily, but my heart belongs to the Mediterranean and its effortless beauty

From Keeping Up with the Kardashians to questionable romcoms, I have a soft spot for glossy, escapist storytelling.

For me, beauty is in the details—the perfect shade of linen, an unexpected floral combination, the way candlelight moves. Obsessing over the little things is my love language.

I don't have enough words to rave about the quality of service, professionalism, and artistic vision that Maria delivered! I am an International Bride (US) who hosted an intimate wedding in Barcelona, Spain with 60 guests. For a couple abroad (both working professionals), having a trusted wedding planner was very important - we hired Maria for the Full/Comprehensive package. Maria not only helped make our wedding dreams come true, she planned the wedding as if it was her own! I founded Maria through Instagram and after our first virtual meeting, I knew she'll be my wedding bestie! We communicated, daily. The single best thing we did in planning our wedding was finding Maria and Emme Studio. We are a Canadian couple living in London, planning a destination wedding in La Baronia, Barcelona, Spain and we wanted someone local there who can help us source local vendors and support on day-of coordination. Maria was SO much more than that. Maria has a great eye for design and found us some amazing vendors from our photographer, make-up artist and florist. She always comes with great ideas and has amazing attention to detail. Throughout the months we were planning, we had great communication with Maria and she as soon as she said something will be fine, I trusted it will be fine. We found Maria randomly on Instagram as we were looking for a wedding planner to organize our wedding in Barcelona as we live abroad. Maria was really perfect from start to finish throughout the organization process, on the big day and even after the wedding was over to sort out any outstanding points with the suppliers.
